Building a Unified Voice for Community Progress

The Story
For decades, Fenway CDC has shaped housing access, community stability, and neighborhood advocacy in Boston’s Fenway. As its impact grew, its story hadn’t kept pace. The organization needed clearer storytelling alignment across programs, policy, development, and partnerships; to better communicate its purpose and leadership.
By listening closely to staff and leadership and auditing how the organization communicated internally and externally, we were able to align how the organization’s purpose is expressed and translated the thier purpose into a cohesive brand and storytelling framework that shows up clearly and consistently everywhere. That work culminated in a new name, Fenway Forward, and a brand built around people, progress, and place. A flexible identity, rooted in a community-centric mark and an optimistic, grounded palette, balances trust and authority with warmth and accessibility. Paired with a clear messaging system and storytelling framework tied directly to impact, the rebrand equips Fenway Forward to lead with clarity, consistency, and confidence as it advances equitable development and community power.
